LO4 - Analysis and application of findings Part 2 (P6,M3)
I was able to collect feedback from my teacher and understand what I need to do to make buy Ident better:
Ident 1
- Try not to use the ending My Little Pony part since it doesn't make sense
- Add a voice over, kids maybe (I'll add AI voice over)
- The characters transitions on time
- Isn't it supposed to be night time? re film the background ton be night time
- What could I add to make it different? new nighttime music and new characters
- Add kids voices, voice over

From my audience feedback, I've discovered what went well with my ident and what improvements are needed to be done.
Ident 1What went well?
- The music selected for my ident goes well
- The ident wasn't random
- The music selected suited the ident.
What needs to be improved?
- The music shouldn't have cuts so make it longer
- Add a VoiceOver (use AI character voice)
- The characters need more transitions for when they popup
- Smoother transitions
- Add a variety of different characters
What went well?
- The Timelapse of the sky slowly getting darker
- The ident wasn't random and made sense
- The music was good
What needs to be improved?
- Have the music not cut out
- Adding different characters than Ident 1
- Add a VoiceOver (use AI character voice)
- Smoother transitions
When considering the improvements of the idents I am going to only improve the following:
Ident 1

- The music needs to not have cuts

Ident 2
- Try and make the background darker to suit it being sunset to dark
- Variety of different transitions used
- The music needs to not have cuts

Production Week 2:
- Tuesday (07/11/23) - Finish filming my idents and testing out different settings for my idents.

LO3 - Production Week 1 (P4)
Production Week 1:
- Tuesday (31/10/23) - Finding out what music, sound effects finding a route to Barkingside Park. Looking at the weather and what is perfect day for the weather.
- Wednesday (01/11/23) - Finishing the rest of the work.
- Wednesday (01/11/23) - Start planning out and looking at the areas to film, helping others with their filming.

LO2 - Legal, moral and ethical issues (P3, M2)

What is Legal, moral and ethical issues in media products?
Legal issues - When planning my product, I need to take into consideration the regulation issues such as the legal issues. If I don't take them into account, then it could impact my media product.
Moral and ethical issues - Moral issues is when someone has their own personal preference. Ethical issues are when someone has values in society.
When filming my Ident, I need to take into consideration:
Ident 1:
- Legal issues - For an example copyright (Copyright, Designs and Patents act 1988), I need to make sure I don't use copyrighted music. A way I'll be considering this is by not using copyrighted music and use previous tiny pop music or a song that won't get me copyrighted or any images that are copied.
- Moral and ethical issues - For an example when filming my idents, I need to take into consideration the genders. Making sure it doesn't offend anyone's but is also welcoming for anyone.
Ident 2:
- Legal issues - For an example the copyright (Copyright, Designs and Patent act 1988), I need to make sure with the green screens I use the accrue characters from the channel Tiny Pop and not anywhere else. Since I won't get copyrighted for copying or stealing anything.
- Moral and ethical issues - I need to make sure that when filming my ident I'm not offending anyone with any race since young kids will be watching this ident. The music won't offend anyone and be suitable for the target audience.
Ofcom
Ofcom is responsible for regulating television idents. Ofcom has specific guidelines which every programme, channel anything shown on the TV is suitable for the audience in the UK. For an example certain ident for certain movies may not be shown since it may not be suitable for a younger audience since the ident may have harmful content or anything inappropriate.
On Ofcom here is what might impact both of my idents:
- Misrepresentation
- Protection of under 18s
- Copyright
